I have this very heavy silver platter that shows the marks opposite each other on the platter. Not an expert on real or not. I tried a ice cube and it started to melt very fast! also when I hit it with a silver coin it has a long sound hopefully I can get more feedback on it

The firm of Elizur G. Webster began the silver plating activity at 175 Broadway, NY.
EPNS stands for Electro Plated Nickel Silver

Meaning, it is not solid silver but plated base metal.
