      From left to right:
      MF in Cyrillic are initials of the maker Maksim Funtikov,active 1840 - 1900 according to Postnikova Loseva book (number 2693).
      AK assayer Andrey Kovalski and year 1843 (active 1821 - 1856).
      84 zolotnik standard for .875 silver purity.
      StGeorge town mark for Moscow.

      Hello Ivan thanks very much for the information, I didn’t expect anyone would have a clue, so I am shocked but very happy to hear who made this spoon and will try to find out more about him.

      This is all that can be found about the maker: Maksim Funtikov Evdokimovich.
      Worked in Krutitskiy Pereulok (Krutitskiy Lane), Moscow. He lived and had workshops in two houses in the lane (Labzov and Tumanov house) but both houses were demolished for modern buildings and tramway rails.

      Thanks Ivan really good information & like Vet says interesting, I managed to see some other spoons he made and seems he made niello , I think its spelt that way.
