I believe it was made in Japan. It came in a large set of doll house furniture from the 1950's, some of which was made in Japan. What baffles me is that I can't find anything like it in this size anywhere. Can anyone tell me who possibly could have made this?

I’ve furnished my own dollhouses so I’ve spent lots of time online looking at marvelously accurate miniatures...most are from China but I’ve never seen any sign of a “brand name” on any of the item I have bought.
I can only suggest browsing dollhouse furnishings on eBay and other such sites.

I have spent hours and hours researching it. There is nothing like it out there. I know Mattel made some wood furnishings from Japan. I am going to research that a little further.
