I found another addition to my small Bakelite collection. This bangle is nothing special but I find the colour refreshing.

    Thanks for looking:)

Very “refreshing”! The color has a lemony look! Maybe Mary knows the correct name for this wonderful summery color...

Thanks for your comment, Ms.CrystalShip. I hope, too, that Mary will have a look. When it comes to Bakelite, she's the one!
I came across a name for this colour just recently but I forgot it. The only thing I do remember is that it was something edible and it made sense :)

I found it! Now I know why I liked the description - LOL

"Chartreuse is a color between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764"

So refreshing as....should we call it Spring Shoots? Green Apple? LOL, Sorry, I don't know. But it has a swirly yellow color too. Hard to tell from you picture - is the inside exactly same color as outside? IF so, this bracelet has been kept away from sun or heat variations which create oxidation and darkening... and is probably the original color. That's unusual and pretty cool. Love it.
