A few years ago, I had interest researching antique post cards with depictions of Bohemian vases. The idea of searching for post cards was to see if it is possible to find a post card with a post date to be able to have an idea of when the production date could have possibly been for anything that could be identified. (I think I had too much time on my hands back then.. lol)

There was some really neat post cards, but nothing as interesting as this post card with a Pallme Konig, four sided vase. The Abstract Flower decoration is visibly seen. I believe the artist signature on the PC is, a gamming. Boeckee. Now for the exciting part, the post date on the back of the PC is Feb. 14 1908 with a hand written Valentine's Day greeting. How sweet is that?! lol

Of course this is not factory documentation to say this PK example was produced in 1908, but sure does give an idea of the production time line for this intriguing art print if nothing else.

    Thanks, so much for looking!

Very cool Leah, I love Ads or other documentation, for things that I Collect, it brings you back to the time that it was made! Fun! :^D Here's a google image search for the Artist, maybe some of the other Vases in the Still Life Art can bs recognized:

Thanks for showing! Stay Well, Wear a Mask, and help to keep everyone Safer! :^)

Hey Leah, I noticed the PC, was Post Marked Eureka, Cal, I had Relatives that lived there at that time! :^D

Love it, and the fact you have the real glass item shown in the decorative art image, is an even better show & tell approach, great post Leah.

Thanks, so much, Bill for figuring out the artist name and adding the link to other images. I too, love ads and documentation to help add to the topic of discussion. I really appreciate your help. Such a nice bonus to add. Nice to know you also recognized the city/state to reminiscence a moment with remembering you had relatives that lived in the same area. Small world!? lol Again, much appreciated, Bill. Have a good one.

Thank you, Lisa! Out of all my searching, this was the best find. With the google images Bill provided looks like a few more examples could possibly come to life.

Thanks, and you're welcome Leah, but larksel came up with the Artists Name, I just followed through with it! :^D What's even stranger is the same Relatives, moved up to Idaho for short time, and then moved back to Orleans, Cal, right next to Eureka, who knows They might have known the People on the Post Card! :^D Take Care, Ware a Mask, and help to stop the spread of COVID-19! :^)

Here's something else, some very interesting History about the "Ghost Town of Burke Idaho":

Both videos tell the story, the first is an Introduction, both are very good! :^D Burke is in Northern Idaho, my Relatives lived near Idaho Falls, in Southern Idaho! :^D Wear a Mask, and know that you are doing the right thing to slow the spread of COVID-19! :^)

This is the best post I have seen in ages! No kidding!
To bring two items together that are well over a century old, and they match up, is mind- boggling. I love everything about this post!
      You have made my day!
( an old friend had 1000’s of old post cards. I used to look through them for hours)
