What a voice ! and his looks didn't hurt either :-) How sad his Grandson maybe felt the pressure to live up to Elvis's fame in the world that he committed suicide . Both o young to die . Have a great Thomas and play a little of the King's music on the turn table today :-)

      I remember that day...
I was walking up to my cousin’s house in Avila, and a friend leaned off her porch and yelled at me down the street. “Elvis died!”
I stood there wondering why she would say such a thing, shaking my head..no! ( everyone knew I loved Elvis, since 2nd. grade).Such a sad day for the millions who loved him :(
His music will always be with us...

I remember that day too. We were on our Senior class trip to Lake Okojobi. And we heard that our sophomore friend died from driving into the ditch and hitting a culvert. Never sure if it was suicide or reckless teenage driving. Our trip was ended and also so sad as we drove home to hear about Elvis.
