    This is a slingshot gun. You stretch a rubber band from the hook on the tip of the "barrel" to the spikey wheel thingy, cock it, and it shoots when you pull the trigger.

      So neat. My brother ( back in the 40s), use to make this type of gun and rifle, with wooden notches instead of iron, and used old cut up innertubes of tires for the rubber bands. They were powerful weapons. He could string one innertube band on top of another per notch. neat. I realize I am aging myself but who cares?

      My husband used to make something like this with rubber bands and clothespins. Boys: always thinking up ways to draw blood den each other...lol
