39”x28”x25” large trunk with one side of the top is beveled. What could this trunk been used for? I’d really like any history or information one its use?

A good place to start and take a photo of, is what looks to be a manufacturers label on the bottom edge bevel side.

I have added a picture of the manufacture label. Just hoping to get an idea of the year, why it has a slanted/beveled top. I have been unable to find a picture of another trunk with that type top?

LOL... I thought about it afterwards whether it was a CA Taylor trunk. I thought you were saying the same thing as Custom Made with your title. These guys as the title states Taylor Made so the item that went into this trunk may very well remain a mystery. Could have been the only one they made in this size and shape. I see lots of different labels for this company just which one came first.... you got me. Drill may know or Jim from HMS trunks should know the correct timeline positioning of these labels if there is one, for your age question. http://www.hmsantiquetrunks.com/index.html
Also Marvin of http://www.thisoldtrunk.com may also have your age answer. They are all very knowledgeable. Don't forget to post your findings, I am curious. Best of luck!
