I was given these rabbits some time ago as an heirloom. They belonged to my great grandmother who died in the 1940s.
I'm told she got them in the early 1930s.
They are stamped 1028 and are a little under 10 inch high.
The eyes and inside of ears appear to be painted.
Has anyone any idea of the history of these?

Made by Sylvac, a company that made a wide range of animal figurines. The hand painted details are unexpected - not seen on any Sylvac that I've seen, which suggests they may have been added later?
