Oregon Wood Maul - Diamond Grenade
7" x 3"
Not sure exactly how old this is, but it has some age to it. Picked at the same estate I bought the 1920 draw knife at.
Interesting the name is Oregon but right under it is the word China. I've only seen one other example similar to this. all the others I've seen just say Oregon or have patent numbers.
I think it looks great just standing on a table.
Is this for splitting wood, or what ?
Yes it is. When I first saw it I wasnt sure..it almost looked like a drill bit..think tunnel boring machine. They still sell new models today that look just like this.
