Was supposed to see Steve Miller as a surprise guest at a C.S. & N. open air concert in Illa Vista, California. He didn’t show...surprise!
C.S. & N. were just out of Woodstock less than three months before...
      Great concert anyway....

At That Time, They Were Known As The Steve Miller Blues Band..They Actually Played A Couple Of Tunes At Woodstock Themselves.
      Thank You For Comment!

I know the Paul Butterfield blues band was at Woodstock
but I’m not sure Steve Miller was
Do you know what day they played

Steve Miller was not included on recordings, as well as others.
Like the audience, some groups just showed up and be given only enough time to play maybe a few songs.
If I'm not mistaken, Fleetwood Mac Blues Band may have??
Some bands refused the invitation to play..Beatles, The Stones, Zeppelin, etc.

Though On tour in 1969, 'The Mac' I'd not appear at Woodstock.
      They formed in '67.

Yeah, I couldn’t find anything on Miller either, but mostly likely lots of others played that were never attributed, like Thomas said...
Lennon said the Beatles would play if they made room for Yoko Ono’s Plastic Ono Band. They were turned down! Ha! Good for them...can’t stand that woman’s screeching!
