Hi! I’m very confused about all that I’ve read, and hoping for some guidance to The Code. :) This doll’s marks are: 200...A 3/0 M...Germany...D.R.G.M....and beneath that, a symbol I don’t understand, followed by 243 (the mold number?) and etched beside that is the number 1985. Is this an Armand Marseilles doll? (Was that company still producing dolls in 1985?) As you can see, she is broken, and her body is fully bisque. Is this an 80s-era reproduction? Any help will be so appreciated, as I’m just learning what to look for. Thank you!

This doll is a reproduction. The old molds were made in ceramic studios and you could go there and paint a doll and they would fire it for you . It was done by a hobbyist in 1985.
