That's a Queen Of The Night tulip in picture 4. A very dark purple that is almost black.

I had no idea you had such a wonderful selection of these tulips! I have only one, and really enjoy it. I love all of the variations you have! And your garden looks lovely, of course!

Cheers Marty, great to hear from you! Snow is forecast for tomorrow, so keep close to that fire/heater...I know I will! Hopefully my plants will manage okay...
Thanks also, Michelle...yes, I've been pretty obsessed with Richardson tulips for a while now...it's taken a while to gather all these, but definitely worth the effort. I meant to do a photo shoot with them last year but didn't get around to it, so this time I made sure to seize the moment!
