Mary has sent me her copper Atomic brooch. It is absolutely stunning, and the perfect color for Fall!
I have an amber cashmere sweater I will adorn with this treasure, and yes dear, I will think of you when I wear it! After receiving this special piece, I dug in a box I had in the garage and pulled out my old copper belt I wore in Junior High, ( they call it Middle School now). Yes, it needs some TLC, but I plan to fix it and wear it along with my new brooch!
And if that wasn’t enough, she also sent me a KJL rhinestone bangle bracelet! All the stones are prong set! A simple but elegant piece! She knows how much I love his jewelry! Mary, you’re a doll, and thank you my dear friend for thinking of me and parting with a piece of your collection. It means the world to me!!
<APPLAUSE> along with huge <smiles>!
I'm happy to send you a few little things. I don't remember where I found the bangle. I love thin bracelets to wear in multiples. Last week I rediscovered this KJL in that stash and I remembered your comments about different eras of Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry. This bangle? Probably the newest - QVC or newer, but nice quality. Glad you like it :-)
As for the atomic brooch, I bought 5 of them NOS awhile ago. They had a Bell USA paper tag and the seller was from Arizona. She thought they were from 1970's. I lean a bit earlier - 60's. Nice quality and I hope you wear it in best of health my friend! XOXO Mary
Nice to have friends
This is so nice, to see how members can connect and share their passion. Best part of CW IMO. Smiles of delight from me. Best to both of you.

Thanks so much for your comments on Mary’s sweet gifts to me. Lisa said it best, that CW brings us all together :)
Thanks again for thinking of me, Mary!
