This is my generation, in fact all four kids in my family were born between 1948 to 1953.

There was something special about our experiences and the fact we always had to be accommodated while we grew older. Our numbers demanded many changes, which still applies today.

We were rebellious of the old values by the end of the 1960s, marched for peace and the end of the Vietnam War. Did sit ins in the universities. Prone to be left wing and embraced many new causes. To protect the environment, to allow women legal rights they did not have, to support integration of all races, to demand National healthcare and pensions for the elderly.

We also caused much global changes for the worse, with our ability to take full advantage of the manufacture of the many toxic life style resources available to us, such as vehicles.

Don't forget plastics and how they had to take me screaming & kicking to go kill people I had nothing against. Yeah, it was a great era (read: error), but we survived! I think ?

I missed y'all by one single year I guess, according to your and most folks' definition of 'boomers'. . . but I have always tended towards close friends slightly older than myself . . . ?? ;-) :-)
