    loveyardsa…
    (33 items)

Hi have had this for a long time never found any info on it. It's a large plate 14 inch across but it does have 4 staples on back but there is no damage on front. It has a goat or some kind of animal in the center. Any info would be great. Thanks

well roast me because i don,t know, it is s a japanese imari , japanese blue , ok which one / Kosometsuke blue , belo indigo, karako
the mark is unclear , a real or fake edo i think

the garlands on the bottom are unknown to me, so i ran the majors (christies etc) also unknown

i ran the cartouche for chimera , and for the Yongzheng the deer equivalent
actually i could only find the chimera, and most old cartouches are sho -chico bai ( 3 friends or winter) or fenghuang ( feniks)

the chimera,s came in as far as i can see very late edo around 1850

i got some doubts about the quality so i ran some ko-imari,s, well i am not that happy , a bit stiff and not so vivid to be 18 century

i might talk bs , but i think this is a sort of 1920 stuff

i think that this is called Yoroko and mid 19th c. not a very good quality one though.

interesting h2o, a whole new approach a sort of sutairu approach , you probably mean Yoroko Mon, well that,s a way of narrowing it down , i never thought of that

the point is i think whats the main priority, my main priority was the mark and the cartouche, and not the curvilineairity, you could be right but i am not convinced yet

the plate is almost dark purple in stead of indigo , i also got a border and mark to explain
well there is not so much Yokonomo and whenif it could be Yokono its changing the time span to (late) edo

i just compared the spawn pattern with the ko-imari, i don,t see this as c
      curvilinearity

no sweat interesting point of view
