Good morning. Corning (Corelle) began production of the dinnerware set in 1970. And the Libbey production of these glasses occurred in the 1970s, as well. I do not have the exact year production began. Now known as Butterfly Gold, the compliment dinnerware was the favoured of the four sets popular in the 1970s; and is, again, the most popular of that decades‘ collectible Corelle.
Daisy1000, my mom owned Corelle dishes for decades....they are just about indestructible! Just this morning, I used one of her bowls that I brought home with me several years ago after her passing.
Your glasses looked SO familiar to me, filled with milk: that’s just how I remember them, from back then! Another stroll down Memory Lane!! Nice.
