    I have been left this set.

    Notice the set has only 5 cups and saucers is this correct??
    Its stamped made in Japan but I cannot find any record of the manufacturer
    Any information will be most welcome

      I f you Google Mikori ware you will see other examples.
      Interesting that the backstamp doesn't have the turtle on it.
      Possibly pre war.

      I've never known a tea or coffee set to be made with 5 cups so most likely it started life with 6 but one was broken.
