Matchbox Monday
In this week's episode we feature a 1975 Matchbox Cosmobile No 68 in dark red.
Produced between 1975 to 1978. Three colors were produced on this model. Dark Red, Blue and Avocado.
I love me some Hot Wheels. But I am not a hardcore Matchbox collector. I just collect what I like. This particular car is one that I had as a kid and played with.
Now the interesting part about this car, Is the date on the bottom is 1975.According to the collector site I just looked at ...this color was only produced in 1978?
I like Hot Wheels too but they are so expensive for the redlines. I do have a few.
Are you a member of their club? I get newsletters but I'm not a redline member. And yes, they do get spendy.
