I’m amazed at the detail of design and work put into these 50s brooches.
This is so appealing Jenni, the dome shape, the amber jewels highlighted by clears and the gold detail.

Karen thanks so much for the fabulous praise, it is true that there used to be much more attention to detail and design layout with the older jewelry, maybe it is like with older movies whose stories seem better than modern ones...I think they just run out of ideas over time, or else modern jewelry pieces lack creativity and talent, this is all conjecture but makes sense right. Anyway, Barclay really did a nice job here and I'm delighted that you found this appealing my friend it is certainly original
Thanks six-0-one for your super compliments, yes this has nice autumnal colors & great to wear right now. Actually I had forgotten that topaz is the November birthstone, I have a great topaz blend piece to post & will try to get it in this month, I think you will like it alot :)
