Pretty sweetsmeat dish with vaseline handle and petal feet. Pontil is snapped. Bohemian or English origin? Quite heavy for its size as the glass is thicker towards base. The top has been shaped in an unusual manner - like three wide spouts. You can see minute particles of black ash from the furnace or the wooden shapers the glass-makers used. Pink opalescent cranberry is well done up to the top rim. This is the only one I have in this design but I am still looking for more. Height is 6.5 cms and width is 13.5 cms across the top ruffles. Probably made in last 15 years of 19th century.
