Eileen. There is a lady here in Albany that hasn't thrown away anything since she can remember, and the entire house, shed and garage are stuffed floor to ceiling. Anyway I was helping her clear out some of the stuff when I turned in time to catch a box of glassware (belonged to her Mother) before it hit the ground. She was so excited nothing broke she offered a token of her appreciation - either something from the garage or I could pick from the jewelry boxes inside the house! Well, that was easy - hope to get another chance to help her again - the choices were unbelievable. Thanks for asking.
What a fantastic story! The old lady has probably something she shares with a lot of people on CW - the reluctance to get rid of stuff :) :) thank god for those people. They (we) save a lot of history.
