I can hardly remember this conversation, but on our way to Sequoia, my Daughter said I was going on about a lobster I had seen that I liked. I didn’t think she was paying attention, of course, she was driving. So I go over to sit with my Grandson’s a couple weeks ago, so she can go hike with a friend, and she sets this little package on the counter. I said, “it’s not Christmas”. She just shrugged her shoulders, and said, “open it”. I just stood there, so she opened it. There it was! The brooch I had told her about! I literally backed away from the counter, and said, “No way!” Just shy of three inches, with beautiful prong set green stones in different shades, and open back features, with curled antenna, this lobster is one of the hardest of the Sea Life Collection to find, and he’s perfect! ! I guess she was listening! I now have 4 out of six. Just two to go, when I find the right colors! Yes, the lobster is a rare one, but my Daughter...she is one of a kind!
Wow, absolutely beautiful, lucky you to have a daughter like that !~
Wonderful gift!! I'm loving all of your beautiful sea creature brooches!
Oh I love this little guy ! :-)
Wonderful story, sometimes we don't give our kids the credit for listening. I love your under sea collection of brooches. Beautiful

Thank you Phil. You know my feelings when you love on a piece of mine. My Daughter is the type that goes the extra distance, for her family, loved ones, and friends. I’m very proud of her, needless to say.
It’s so good to have you back Scott! D & E made some of the most incredible figurals! As you can see the work put into each is quite extensive...just two to go!
Awe, thanks Mani! He is quite lovely...for a lobster! Ha!
You said it Lori! My Daughter said just that, “See, Mom, I listen”. She was an easy child growing up, 4.0 student, popular, kind, now a Mother of three little boys, her love knows no borders. She makes time for everyone. So proud!
Thank you Kevin, Michele is a dear Daughter, always thinking of others...
MrsT. It was quite a surprise to see this piece. With Christmas just around the corner, I certainly wasn’t expecting it. Thank you so much for your kind comment as always!
Maureen, I was very happy and excited to receive this piece from the sea life collection. Only thing I know this to be very rare and expensive, $$$, and being so close to Christmas..... Anyway, I told her I didn’t expect any more under the tree!! My Family is all I need for Christmas!!! I am so blessed!
Love this little guy - and so fun to add to your Sea Life collection! Yes, your daughter is a sweetheart!
Hi Mary, glad to see you back! And yes, she is !
Thank you my friend, missed you here!
Eileen - as the old saying goes, "The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree!" your daughter must make you so proud,
Happy Thanksgiving! Lori
Thank you Lori for such kind words!
Yes, she makes me proud everyday, always thinking of other’s besides herself. I believe being a Mother of three wonderful boys makes her that way....
Gotta keep loving these beauties, the colours just shimmer as if they were in the bright sun, just out of the water. First photo is the best for the lobster, really in love with that - the quality is that of the highest standards. Magnifico !~
Phil, I wore this lobster yesterday, first time! A little scared of wearing this figural as it is a very expensive piece, but more important it was a gift from my dear Daughter, so when my 4-year old Grandson jumped on me and threw his arms around me ( he’s a hugger), he accidentally “bumped” into it. I decided to take it off just to be on the safe side, as many hugs were to follow! Ha!
