This wonderful 1940's pillow (12"x18") is filled with over 120 plastic and metal charms. It has a few WWII sweetheart pins "Lenny 1943", so we think Lenny's younger sister made this pillow. His highschool track pin is also attached. I lost count at 120! Wonderful crackerjack charms and even 2 bakelite pins: the red dog and the pair of yellow and rootbeer scotties. My relative bought an acerage that included the house and outbuildings' contents! This was wrapped up but stuffed in a basement closet. It's now proudly displayed in one of the bedrooms. Very fun item for me to enjoy.

Wow Way kool ,, I have a few Cracker J toys but not nearly that many
Good Stuffings
Mary, How cool are these? And so many!
I spy a deer, Uncle Sam, Donald Duck, and a Pegasus! Such a great collection of Cracker Jack History! ( now all they put in them is a paper tattoo, how sad is that?)
Fabulous ! Amazing those little toys were kept :-)
mcheconi - Yes, the charms are all sewn on by someone long ago - thanks!
Vynil - Amazing isn't this? I wanted this so bad....but at least I could enjoy it. There were so many fabulous treasures at this property. It was very hard not to "pick one up out in the barn".
Eileen - Yes fab!! Not to mention the metal pins that I didn't get pix of. I had to take pix fast. Of course I wanted this pillow. LOL
Manikin - Yes I agree, but someone enjoyed collecting like we do!!
Jenni - Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Pretty neat isn't this?

Thanks Maureen - I wish this fab pillow was mine but the next best thing is getting to take photos. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you for your love RonM
I love these portable art pieces, my fave here is uncle Sam, but so many others are noteworthy also !~
Thanks Phil! I'm glad it was saved. Wish I knew more of the provenance. Don't you have to eat a HECK of a LOT of CrackerJacks to do this?
I have never seen anything like this. Very cool and fun. What an adventure to count all these and examine them.
Elisabeth - I'll send you a few pictures of this farm site. I prowled through some of the out buildings and saw SO many things I really wanted to slip in my pockets....I did not do that. Then, I saw this pillow and recognized some charms that are on ebay. Oh, this pillow should be mine - but at least it is in the family.
I agree this is one to save, LENNY where are you? look at your younger life. How great of you Mary to save this piece, wonderful - Lori
Lori - thank you! My sister in law has it, and she loves it. I wanted to share for all of us to enjoy. I think Lenny passed away and it was his younger sister who made this. So wonderful isn't it?
