Here is another TACH from race car daze 1970's
This one worked great in the station wagon race car.. I should have saved some photographs
It has a custom shock absorbing mount and adjustable Red line. This unit went down the 1/4 mile drag strip many times

WONDERFUL! Oh how I remember the daze when tach's were more often 'add-ons' like that, while they're now sorta standard dashboard equipment. (at least in any vehicle halfway worth a sh*t...?) FWIW, I enjoy watching the tach on my F-150 (with the big V-8 under its hood) though I seldom punch it to any more than about 2.5 or 3K (for normal around town driving...sometimes a little bit more when I need to get around some a-hole that's otherwise in my way on the freeway... <lol>
