A few months ago a friend asked me to post my 30's-60's wood jewelry. During the depression artisans carved, painted and sold cute whimsical items : animals, cowboys&indians, south-of-the-border, names/initials themes and more! I love wood with bakelite or lucite and have 3 brooches I've shared on CW.
This is a very lovely 50's or 60's exotic wood brooch with either chrome or sterling ring inset and back hardware. It is 2" and lives on a favorite jean jacket beside 2 other sterling circle pins. No markings.

Very zen. Love it.
Thank you Karen - I redid the pictures and shined it up a bit.
Thank you friends for your loves - fortapache, dav2no1, Thomas, aura, Manikin and Elisabeth.
This is from the 50's-60's. I have researched although this is not a signed pin.
