Thank you Scott for the great compliment, I am truly glad you liked this horse. I had forgotten about him & saw him sitting on a shelf, then I thought, oh a Pilgrim horse pose I haven't posted yet, so here he is!
Karen thank you for the lovely praise, I try to think of you and have at least one hand blown glass animal as well as a pressed or molded one, so the Pilgrim horse of course is handmade. He has a nice form with the raised leg, almost like a lippizaner type, would of course have shown up better in colored glass but these oldies are HTF
Thanks BB2 for the kind words I'm glad you liked this guy. I can certainly relate about the rain, we had a miserable storm with gale force winds & flooding Christmas Eve into today, a very wet (not white) Christmas! So we stayed in as well, not worth having an accident on slick roads you know
Thank you MrsT for the really kind praise & yes it's always a delight to find a glass animal with its orig label, sometimes it helps you date the piece as well (however this time the animal is pictured in one of Pilgrim's catalogs which are so helpful)
Phil thanks so much for your fab comment, I can absolutely see this stallion with a mounted policeman on top, that's so cool! We have mounted cops at our shopping malls here on Long Island, they also patrol important federal buildings, picket lines & of course NYC venues, and they are very good to their horses always keeping open window haul vans for them when off duty. I love horses myself, used to ride them as a girl, then one of my early jobs in my 20s was a typist for a thoroughbred racing investigations firm which was very interesting

Thanks Roy for the great compliments I've missed you SO much as well as your super posts - seeing the beautiful Canadian outdoors, excellent music choices incl one of my faves Gordon Lightfoot, and most of all your upbeat personality & kindness to me, then a "newbie" here. I totally get it about the public forum posting, gets to be too much, and though this is the only one I participate in & people are mostly nice, there's always the opposite end of the coin right. I'm still Jenni the insomniac, it's 3:00 a.m. NY time here, I will have no problem seeing in the New Year tomw nite lol!
