My brother got me into The Hobbit when I was younger. Looking through some stuff over the holidays I found this poster. It shows a map of Beren and Luthien from The Silmarillion. I believe it is from some sort of audio recording on a tape or record at that time.
It led me to doing some research on Caedmon as it appears on the poster. Apparently HarperAudio, acquired Caedmon in 1987. So this would have been from what it seems to be some of the first audiobook style recordings leading this to going more mainstream.
Anyways. Pretty cool poster for those interested in Tolkien stuff. Thanks for passing by and have a blessed day and remainder of the week.
