Thomason type corkscrew in full working order and very nice condition.
Full length worm with a sharp tip. Bone handle is missing the dusting brush.
Handle without cracks in the bone. All working smoothly and nice, with a double helix action automatically withdrawing the cork.
The Bronze has a nice patina.
I have found a very nice webpage with lots of informations about this wonderful pieces, which has been patented in 1802. I will post a link underneath
