Found this today for $1.50 at goodwill. It does not glow with the black light. Is it jadeite? Has anyone ever seen this?

OMG - I love it, as soon as I saw the post I said Jadeite, then I saw the size and thought yep I bet it is. Fire Kings Jadeite
One thing about the 40's - 50's (and earlier) the kitchen was the main stable of activity for both the lady of the house and her children, and the Kitchen Ware used by the family were replicated thus Kid Size Dish Set were produced to match; they were very popular. Most did not survive childhood.
Today the kid set are usually plastic. Very Nice Set for the price especially. I have always dreamed of owning a complete set of this type.
Yours looks as though they keep it in a box. Excellent. Keep an eye out for any stragglers as some sets get separated and will show up as single sale. Enjoy. Lori

Looks a lot like the Fire King that I collected when I first started to collect on my own, although this seems a fair bit lighter. Nice set of depression glass.

the catalog calls these 'miniatures' rather than child sets, and are listed with other miniature patterns reproductions...
