This 1 3-4" brooch & matching 3-4" clip earrings have purple and alexandrite rhinestones on silvertone, in a floral design that also resembles a snowflake. By B David (1945-1993), all pieces signed and ca mid-'50s

Thanks a bunch Phil for your super compliment & noticing the snowflake look here, I think that star shaped central alexandrite rhinestone contributes to the snowflake appearance, and the ear clips truly look most like snowflakes
Lori thank you for your lovely comment, I hope you will look into some B David gems you will be pleasantly surprised at their diversity. Their settings are very strong, I've yet to find any loose rhinestones in their work, and love their mix of colors and shapes

Karen thank you for your wonderful comment, B David is a consistently good designer, this rhinestone set is a very good example of their talent - always balanced, tasteful & never outlandish designs that are really elegant and wearable - if something is too "over the top" I rarely wear it, but you can't go wrong with a B David ever
