The funnest-est part of this bottle was/is an entirely accidental comment by Victoria, as we were all polishing it off. She's actually an employee at a local really "hoity-toity" Country Club but didn't notice the label at first while I was opening and serving, when she did she exclaimed "WOW -- we sell that sh*t for ~$300 a bottle!!!"
And it WAS really tasty stuff which was ultimately ALSO a free gift to me from another dear friend, and I know for a fact it didn't cost *him* much over $40 if that, because a few weeks ago we were both at the same liquor store where it was 'free sample Friday" and we both liked it a whole lot...he called me from the counter there when he stopped back in later for his own NYE bottle and they only had 4 or 5 left in the store...I said "h*ll yes grab me one of those"... <lol>
