    Hello everyone!
Another fox related item from my collection. This traveling fox mantel clock is made by O.C.C. (Oklahoma Casting Co.). It's numbered O.C.C. 315 on the fox's coat tail. These are all hand painted at the O.C.C. factory. A rare thing to find something made in the USA today, but this fellow is. I love everything about him. He stands 7 3/4" tall, 6 3/4" front to back and 3" wide. They also made this mantel clock in the form of a traveling rabbit. I have one of those as well. I'll eventually post it.

Thank you all for stopping in !!
    Scott

So sorry for the late comment, but as you know, I have been busy busy busy. I am not leaving the house today!!
What I love about your foxes is that they seem to be dressed as “the huntsman”, like the shoe is on the other foot. Who could ever do such a thing? I might of already told you, but I ran into a fox on a deer trail on my property once, while hunting for chanterelles. Boy, he took one look at me and bolted! Didn’t mean to frighten him, he was a pretty one too!
Your clock is a rarity, yes? I love it!!

Thanks Eileen! Foxes tend to be very shy around humans, a natural instinct I guess. This fox clock is not a rarity, but I got him for an amazing price. All I had to do was replace the inexpensive clock. It was sold to me as a candle holder (believe it or not), but I knew instantly that it wasn't a candle holder, but mantle clock.
