Got myself off on a tangent. Azerbaijan Glass. For me, this is some of the coolest glass I've seen. Here is a 13" Pitcher vase in Black, but using purple glass. The vase gets very purple when blasted with bright light.
13" Tall
5" Across
1 1/4" Spout
3 1/4" Base

I rarely see Azerbaijan Glass, it is good stuff.
This one is really attractive, and the colouring very cool.
Thank you Lori. I've had another piece here in my collection. For many years it was unidentified. When I made the I.D. it led me to 2 specific catagories. The Basic catagory or Baijan Glass. They have a Glass Master, her name is "Essie Zareh" and she was the maker of my first unknown piece. I've renamed the post and it can be found here at CW under Essie Zareh Baijan Glass.
