      I have never seen a tatting tool that looked like this . Your great grandmother may have used them in some way when tatting but this looks like a butter knife to me .

      I agree with Nancy, they look like butter knives.

      The butter knives look to me to be stamped Roger's Silver . If you have the forks and spoons to go with them the price of silver and gold is up right now . They just might be worth some money if they are made of sterling .
