It looks old but I can not find any information on Wheatley's Bread. There is a Wheatley Lane Bread but that is not this. So there is the sad possibility this a novelty sign. But then again perhaps not.
The sign is about 9" x 19" and is shaped like a loaf of at a bit of an angle. The left side is larger than the right end. The odd shape is what drew me to the sign. The paint is cracked as seen in photo #2 and the backside shows some age. I always check the backside on signs as the front may look 100 years old and the back about 100 days old. It is a rather heavy gauge for a sign. A 16th of an inch perhaps.
Anyway it looks good on the wall.

Very cool! My wife's maiden name is Wheatley and, ironically, they have a road named after her dad called Wheatley Lane.
