Here is a 3 1-4"H caramel slag glass bulldog puppy with neckerchief called the Parlor Pup by Imperial Glass of Bellaire OH, item #43943 ca 1969-1976

Very cute little pup- I thought in the thumbnail he was a little Yorkshire terrier pup but now I can see the bulldog look of him. His colour is gorgeous though, it reminds me of some kind of dark butterscotch or brandy even, his little skin wrinkles are cute too- they're a really nice and realistic addition to the sculpt! :P
They infused a lot of the excitement of a little pup in this version !~

Thanks Lori for your sweet comment and agreeing on the cute factor, Imperial's glass maker just thought, I need to find a cute little dog to pose for me and this is the result :)
Lauren I too thought this dog was not very bulldog-looking, and with the sticking out bow a Yorkie would be a good choice. The color does have a nice mix of browns, slag glass is always unpredictable and no two in a color are ever alike - with this one the dog's features are fortunately still clear. Thank you for the fabulous praise & great observs
Doesn't he look super friendly Phil, like an excited pup waiting to go for his walk (or should I say begging, our family dog would always let you know with demanding howls that she needed to go out NOW lol). Thank you for your super comment
Kevin thanks for your great comment, I found this pup in the same color as the one pictured in one of my fave reference books Glass Animals & Figurines by Coe, they have a pretty extensive selection of vintage glass animals with the accompanying info (item no, years made etc) and I often use it esp to double check a seller's claims which are not always accurate
