    hi collectors I can't find out the date on this I think it's like 1900 I believe it is the Yale football team I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction if this is Yale before 1900 or after thank you very much

      The ball looks more like a rugby ball than a football to me

      The football pants they are wearing with the 2 leather patches on the thighs date to 1910-1925

      Definitely a football team.

      My first guess would be Yale as well due to the "Y"-- online searching for "yale football team" and different years may pull up the same photo or prominent players.

      The photograph itself may contain something to narrow dating. Adding photos of the entire photo, front and back may help.

      As it is, without the entire photo visible and no searching; I would put it in the first quarter of the 20th century and not 19th century.
