Hand axe marked M Price, Cast Steel. Can't find much about it. Do you think it could be related to the famous knife maker M Price of San Francisco ?

According to eaia "directory of American toolmakers" there was axe maker Matthias price in Newark no from 1846 to 1871
I believe your correct. I have gotten some info since I posted this and it goes back to the same individual you mention. Thank you for helping me run this down. Your help is much appreciated.
