With incredibly mixed up emotions right now, I otherwise present the newest 'sign' to join my collection, as it now exists freshly displayed on the rear wall of my little home. Indeed up until very recently I would have never believed that it would end up being 'mine' instead of where its been for the last ~25 years, front and center on the building housing the shop I've worked out of that whole time.

Nonetheless, its presence here now reflects the perhaps obvious...my ~30yr career as I've known it, and/or the firm I've done it for, are not long for this world any more. There are many compounding reasons for this, but the 'new organ' which we're now nearly 100% finished with construction and installation of, will be the final instrument to bear the N&S nameplate, then the Company will be no more.

All is *not* lost for me despite it -- when all is said and done (which is probably gonna be entirely too quickly?!) I will end up with my very own independent "small business", consisting largely of the 'tuning and service' arm of N&S which I've basically been doing already for years -- but now it'll be wholly 100% my own responsibility to own/operate. (and hopefully profit from?!! <lol>)

Wish me luck y'all...I'm sure gonna need it...

You have a special talent which many, many people enjoy without even knowing the man behind the scenes, keeping the music coming....and not a sour note ever.
Good luck with everything involved in being the head of the company....and go easy on the employee!

My most sincere THANK YOUS to Theonlyone, fortapache, vetraio50, Brunswick, jscott0363, Vynil33rpm, hotairfan, Watchsearcher, Manikin, blunderbuss2, aura, & valentino97 for your good wishes -- especially Theonlyone, jscott0363, & Watchsearcher for leaving your kind comments too.

The last couple months (that long already? time is kinda all wonky recently...) have been a whirlwind that isn't nearly finished -- but I can report that my first "solo Easter tuning season" is now complete and more importantly *existed* again in the first place, unlike 2020...?? ;-) :-) :-) ;-)
