this necklace is made of cabochon that look likes the dragon breath opal, however the pieces are made well and deserve a posting. the large oval cabochons are accented with dark amber rhinestones, and a couple of larger round clear rhinestones. It hangs around the neck as a choke, the clasp is hook that holds on the the chain of small rhinestones - I don't know the age or the origin.
In the 3rd photo, the dark spots are reflection, the piece is flawless with no issues.
