Victorian era. Blown into a mould to form the ribs and then put on a pontil rod to form top crimps and handle. The cranberry beads in the centre of the flowers would have been applied while the jug was still hot but after the jug had been acid dipped? The blue is a subtle tone - clear glass over blue over white. The way the spout and the top rim have been made reminds me of Bohemian jugs. There is a snapped pontil and the bottom has been flattened to ensure stability. Graceful and pretty. Not sure if it was purely decorative or had a commercial use at the dinner table? Height is 21.5 cms and just under 9 cms at widest part of body. Manufactured by?
Very pretty! Riedel often used pale blue satin glass, so they are a possible maker.
