I think that’s called The Cross of Lorraine....somehow symbolic of French patriotism...but I don’t know the whole story.

I have a piece, actually my 1st ever posted here. It is a "Daum Vase" Nancy. Piece is from late 1900's and features the "Cross of Lorraine" on its base. Definitely the "Cross of Lorraine" Nice Find. It appears to be copper ?
Not that mysterious.... that's the logo used by the National Tuberculosis Assoc.
Bugguy is correct...that is the logo of the Nat Tuberculosis Assoc!!
Part of the mystery solved but that leads down another interesting rabbit hole: Why was it found in Dalton Ga?
Interesting to me is the fact that Battey State Hospital of Rome was a major inpatient treatment and research center for tuberculosis from about 1943 until the 1990. The towns of Dalton and Rome are practically neighbors.
Battey State Hospital was an important facility with a large campus so may have had its own newsletter or newspaper....Cokeman’s item looks kind of like a stamp that would be inked and used in the printing process.
After the 1990s, TB patients were no longer housed there and the facility was renamed and became a mental care facility for many years until it closed completely as a hospital.
The tuberculosis hospital in Rome Ga and the item depicting the Tuberculosis Assoc logo found a few miles away in a Dalton Ga thrift shop may be connected.
Cokeman, this might call for seeking out Battey State Hospital archives to see if any newspapers or such have the logo printed or stamped in that exact size....it would certainly be noticeable.

It could have even been something made by an inpatient TB sufferer.....a craft project maybe in recognition/gratitude for the treatment received from the National Tuberculosis Assoc.
It is definitely a printers block.
Rome and Dalton GA are more than a few miles apart-- made the drive a few times and it took about 45 minutes.
