    Does anyone know anything about this Rod in particular?

    I found this at an estate sale and have no information on it. Brand is “Mermaid” made in Tokyo.

    The Rod would be roughly 12’ when assembled.
    I might be able to date the Rod by the Japanese newspaper crumpled inside the box. But I was going to try and leave it intact.
