This beauty was a promotional casserole which was only given out thru Stanley Home Products parties as a hostess gift in the 1950's. It's the softest of pinks and it has a glamorous 22k gold flower and spray decorative design. Very befitting its Duchess name and it deserves to wear a crown? It is a rare piece but they do pop up every so often if someone is lucky enough to catch it. The pearls are actually a necklace and the crown is a large Christmas tree ornament. ???? This casserole came with a clear glass knob lid, but I love it with the lid from the Pyrex UFO piece.
