I went thrifting for albums and found this, " Deuces Wild, The best of the Deuces Wild", album (LP 33 1/3). It was recorded at the Hagens studio in Princeton, NJ. I found one song on Youtube, Grovin". When I listened, it was familiar and now I am even more curious. Did they create the album from other recordings or did the artists actually come in for the recording? It didn't have a date, so I don't know how to even research. Unfortunately, it is difficult. Any help would truly be appreciated.

Ok, it was the Rascals and that's what I heard on the album. Thanks, I couldn't remember who sung it. I remember War made a version as well. Thanks Nutsabotas.

Who is David Vomacka? Dunno.
An Internet search turned up a variety of hits on Facebook, Instagram, Legacy, Linkedin, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube (obviously).
As to Deuces Wild, that seems to have been a popular name for musical groups (and seems to be to this day).
Here's one possibility, although this snippet makes it a bit dubious:

FYI, I listened to that clip at the Dallas Pop Festival 1969 link, and it sounded like the same band to me.
Keramikos, I viewed all of your links and posted on the comment section in Youtube. Someone reached out to me today and seemed very excited. You are correct, it is a cover band that played in Houston. When the person from Youtube contacts me, I will share the info. Thanks again for the help, you are purr-fection!

THE SKY'S THE LIMIT For Deuces Wild. Four years of practice and hot talent are beginning to pay off for The Deuces Wild, one of Princeton's most exciting rock-n-roll groups. If the four musicians can remain together after high school graduations, there's no telling how far they may go. Winners of a two-day appearance at Atlantic City's Steel Pier for their victory in the Princeton Hospital Fete's Rock Marathon at the beginning of June. the group plans to continue practices despite the graduation of half their musicians from high school. Jerry Steele, guitarist, lead singer, and recipient of a plaque for most promising individual talent at the Fete, will study engineering at Lehigh University next year. At Princeton High School, he received a Gold Key for participation in the choir and work in repertory theatre. Bass guitarist and vocalist Bob Hilton will attend Wesley University in Connecticut next year. The eagle scout also plays the violin and is active in a youth group at the First Presbyterian Church. That leaves half the group still in high school. Leo Orsi who teaches the drums when he's not playing them, began his music career playing the trombone for the Princeton University band while he was seven years old. He'll be a PHS senior. David Vomacka rounds out the quartet, taking care of the organ, guitar and vibes. His music career also competes with his interest in science, as he studies chemistry this summer at Rider College under a National Science Foundation grant. Averaging one long practice, session each week, The Deuces Wild are beginning to hit the New England circuit, after extensive local performances. They're now in demand, able to average one engagement each week.

Yes Keramikos, I was actually communicating with a band member on YouTube. He was so excited to know I had a demo. He said they only made 25 and his warped from heat. All members are still living with the exception of one. They actually made a music video. Thanks again, this was very meaningful. By the way, I found another DEMO. Lol, I think this is going to be a dark one. I will post later, again thanks.

@Raven I played piano, organ and vibraphone on album. Leo Orsi played drums, Bob Hilton sang and played bass, and Jeremy Steel sang and played lead guitar. Ray Colcord, since passed on, played piano on Don McClane's American Pie and Organ on Lou Reed's "Rock and Roll Animal", became producer and wrote movie scripts. Bill Tukey, little guy in middle, sang lead and lead guitar, untill he graduated.
