Signed Curtis Jere 1979 Brass Sea Urchin Brutalist. Inherited from grandma. When I researched there was an interesting story behind this creation. Lots of replicas but this is signed and rare.

Well I am not exactly sure where my Grandmother bought this. Was told possibly in Oregon at a shop by the coast. When she past away my Grandpa put their house up for sale and this always hung over their fireplace. One gal that looked at the house was very interested in the piece and kept offering $50, then $75, then $100. We were curious why she was so interested in it so I started researching it. That is when I noticed it was dated and signed. If you google Curtis Jere you can find the history on them and their art. At that point my Grandpa said he had no interest in it and gave it to me.
