I found this at an estate sale in a box of misc items and it caught my eye though I wasn't sure what it said. The colors are so beautiful and vivid although it appears to be so old. The frame had come apart and I fixed it but I noticed it us actually 2 pieces of glass and when I tried to separate the glass I noticed it was somehow painted directly on the glass backwards? and the paint started to crack so I carefully put it back and just put the frame back togetherwith a drop of glue in the corners. One of my clients in my salon told me it was in polish. That's all I know. Has anyone seen something like it ?the back is very fragile deteriorated paper with the little bails hold in the glass. You can tell how old it is from that but the paint through the glass is so vivid it almost looks new to me. Only when I tried to separate the glass did I see the paint material is so fragile it started to flake immediately.
