I purchased this today in Anchorage. The original owner was an architect in Fairbanks having moved to AK in the 50s from TX. He used this as a book case in his office for his entire career. As an architect he pioneered building in the harsh Alaskan bush. Any ideas on the origin and/or age of this piece? Thanks!

Orienting your photos would be helpful in getting folks to look at this-- take a look at the "create a show and tell" link for help.

Looks to be first half, 20th century.

Orient the photos and I will take another look.

I have a case very similar. Trying to figure out the value of it. Do you mind sharing the price you paid for it?
