Thank you Andrea for your great comment, this was a really nice starfish design by Capri, they also made it in textured all-goldtone and other types, but when I found this with all the pretty rhinestones I knew it was for me as I always go for the bling :)
Right FreshAir, does this not resemble a real starfish with its shape and chunky style, I totally agree - have many other starfish brooches in my collection but this one is the most realistic. Thanks for the super praise & fab observ!
MrsT thanks so much for your lovely comment, I am truly happy that you liked this starfish piece, it is actually very sparkly but I didn't want to overlight it & take away from its nice basic design, & glad to find it in pretty perfect shape for being @70 yrs old
Thank you Scott for your super praise and finding this ocean creature beautiful, I'm mentally projecting beach weather a little early because I so long to walk our Jones Beach boardwalk as soon as we warm up a bit more here in NY. We get our 2nd vaccine shots in a couple wks, after which it will be nice to breathe fresh beach air again (you don't have to wear masks there, but we always have done to keep safe & will continue wearing them where required)
